عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ
اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ:
قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
اَلرَّاحِمُوْنَ
يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمٰنُ, اِرْحَمُوْا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي
السَّمَاءِ
It
was narrated from Abdullah ibnu Umar.
He said: Rasulullah Shollallohu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam said, "People
who have affectionate
nature will be loved by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala the All Beneficent. Have mercy on everything in the world, then you will
be loved by everything that is in the heavens."

Affection’s
Khalifa Umar bin al-Khattab against
a Bird
At
one time, Umar bin Khattab
walks in the city
of Medina. At that moment, he
saw a boy was
holding a bird and making fun. Looking at it, he felt sorry for the
bird. The bird was purchased and then sent out.
When Umar bin al-Khattab had died, the majority of friends (shahabat) dreamed of meeting him. They asked about the state of him.
Shahabat :
“What has Allah done with you?”
Umar
ibn Khattab : “He has forgiven my sins and freed me
from all punishment”
Shahabat :
“What caused it? What causes of your generosity, your justice, or your asceticism?”
Umar ibn Khattab : “When you laid me
in the grave, buried me with soil, and left me alone
there, then came two angels very scary that
my mind lost and my
body to trembled. Both of them reached my hand
and sat me and
intend to asked me, but suddenly a voice
without a way that said, "Leave my servant and you don’t scare him! I love him
and forgive his sins because when in the world he was ever
loved a bird then
I love him in the hereafter. "”
Second Story
Compassionate Feeling of An Expert of Worship
Ago, in the days of Bani Israel there was An
Expert of Worship walk
on the beach. At that time, the
people of Bani Israel is experiencing exceptional drought. In his heart arises
expectation, "If a pile of sand is transformed
into flour, then I would satiate the stomach of Bani Israil Community." The hope’s An Expert of
Worship are then responded to by Allah Subhananu
wa Ta’ala by lowering revelation
to one prophet of the Bani Israel,
"Tell to the experts of worship, indeed
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has given rewards as
if the sand is
actually turned into flour and then you donate it."
Whoever felt Compassionate for the creatures of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala so He will have mercy on him. In essence, when the
experts of Worship
feel Compassionate for the creatures of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala by saying, "If this
sand pile into flour, then I will satiate man." He actually had to get the reward as it
is if it really happened.
